Principal's Bio

Mrs. Langford began her career in 2000. She has worked in Polk and Cobb counties. She joined Carroll County School System in 2004 with Ithica Elementary. After five years, she became an Instructional Coach for the county. In 2011, she became the Assistant Principal at Villa Rica Elementary School, and this is her 4th year as a principal at TES.

Mrs. Langford’s educational credentials include her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education as well as her Master’s and Specialist degrees from Jacksonville State University in Educational Leadership.

"I am honored to have the opportunity to continue reaching, teaching, and inspiring all students at Temple Elementary," Mrs. Langford said. "My passion for education involves providing an exciting, rigorous, safe learning environment for all students. My commitment to building positive relationships and leading by example will go hand in hand while exuding Tiger Pride!"

Superintendent Scott Cowart shared that Mrs. Langford’s experience at the elementary level and passion of excellence made her an obvious choice for the principalship at Temple Elementary. "Mrs. Langford knows how to lead people and is focused on the success of every student. Additionally, Mrs. Langford is excited about continuing the direction that has been charted at Temple Elementary. She will be an asset for Temple Elementary and the entire school district."


Mrs. Langford is married with two high school children, Catherine and Scott.
