About Me
I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia in 2006, my Master's degree from West Georgia in 2007, and my Specialist Degree in Instructional Technology in 2013. I completed my Gifted Endorsement in 2017 and my certification in School Library Media in December of 2020.
This is my 20th year in Carroll County. I have taught first, second, fourth, and fifth grade, instructed in the Early Intervention Program, and the STEM Lab. I am now in the Media Center and love it!!! I was nominated for the Life Changer of the Year award in 18-19 and 21-22. I was also honored to be named the TES Teacher of the Year for the 2022 school year.
I have been married to Larry Weaver for 15 years and we have a son, Judd, and a daughter, Sophie as well as two dogs, Belle and Hank. Mr. Weaver is now serving as the Assistant Principal of Temple Middle School. We live in Temple and love to travel and spend time with our families.
I look forward to another blessed year in Carroll County.
As always, it's a great day to be a tiger!
