Hi! My name is Mrs. Thurman. I live in Carrollton with my husband, David, 11-year-old daughter, Madisyn, and Butter, our orange tabby. I enjoy being a mama, wife, reading, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends. This is my fourth year teaching at Temple Elementary. I've previously taught in Cobb and Douglas counties. I am very excited about this school year! I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child and making this a great year!

I attended the University of West Georgia and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I went back to UWG to become certified in Early Childhood Education. In addition, I have also earned my Master’s of Early Childhood Education with a Reading Endorsement. In July of 2021, I graduated from Kennesaw State University, with a Specialist’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
